PROJECT BACKGROUND

Adams County Justice Center, a high-traffic civic facility, required a complete lighting modernization that would meet performance standards while ensuring comfort, safety, and operational reliability.

The goal was to replace the legacy lighting with a visually balanced, design-integrated LED system that enhances spatial clarity, supports extended use, and complements the Justice Center’s architectural form.

KEY CHALLENGES ADDRESSED

The initiative replaced outdated fluorescent and CFL fixtures with high-performance LED systems designed to:

  • Deliver uniform brightness and visual balance.

  • Lower maintenance and operational costs.

  • Integrate easily with the existing ceiling and architectural layout.

UNINTERRUPTED EXECUTION AND DESIGN INTEGRITY

  • Phased execution allowed the Justice Center to remain fully operational during installation.

  • Fixture integration was aligned with existing ceiling systems for a clean, professional appearance.

  • Lighting control precision ensured even distribution, vertical illuminance, and low glare throughout.

  • Adaptive responsiveness, enabled by IQ-Sense-equipped luminaires, automated light levels based on occupancy and daylight, improving both user comfort and energy performance.

  • Sustainability guided fixture selection, ensuring longevity, serviceability, and compliance with energy standards.
